Problems after reinstalling Mastercam

Just received my new laptop, put my key on, reinstall Mastercam with my cd and when I open files I receive the following message :

 

Warning - C:mcam9/chooks/mp916.dll not found

 

How come ? Do I have to change anything in the Hasp or.....

I think what is happening is that you have a post processor from CNC Automation (as opposed to CNC Software who supply Mcam). Those post processors use custom DLL files that are not shipped with Mastercam. Probably the best course of action is to contact CNC Automation and ask them to re-send your post processor files, together with installation instructions.

A bad way:

 

When you're on a network, after installing copy the complete mcam9 directory from the old computer to the laptop. Then you get al the deufaults, patches and so on.

ONLY if stay at the same level!!!

If youre going from 9.1SP2 on the old, to 9M0304 on the new, dont do this!!
