Whats the difference?

As long as you have IE 5.x+ installed on your system, you can have Windows save your password for you with AutoComplete. It also appears that with this new version of UBB, that a cookie is written to your system when you login and persists until you log out. So you may not even need Windows to remember your password if my assumptions are correct.

However, if you're using a computer that is used by other people, you may want to log out so that nobody can post on behalf of yourself.

You can find the AutoComplete settings in the Internet Properties applet in the Windows Control Panel. Select the Content tab on the Internet Properties dialog and then click on button with AutoComplete... as a caption. You'll then see a dialog with nothing but AutoComplete settings smile.gif
