I received a CD with the latest version of MasterCAM (v8.1.1). Does anyone know if there are any major changes or enhancements in the mill area in this version vs v8.1.0?

after installing it come back here to the patch dir & down load the new surface patchs that will give you more controls under the surface Paramters.the files shown below from the patch dir.

Appmch81-0626.exe - (06/26/01) - This self-extracting zip file contains the latest improvements available for Surface machining as of July 6, 2001. It will only work with Mill V8.1.1. You will also need Appcfg-0626.exe to access some of the new features. The specific issues it addresses are detailed in the Appmch8.doc file. Download and execute this file. It will extract several files into your Mcam8Apps directory.

Appcfg-0626.exe - (06/26/01) - This self-extracting zip file contains the latest advanced configuration C-Hook released July 7, 2001. It is used to enable advanced surfacing features included in Appmch8-0626.exe. It will only work with Mill V8.1.1. Download and execute this file. It will extract two files into your Mcam8Chooks directory.
