Walter Wheeltronic 500 Grinder

Anyone using some offline programming for this? I have a .exp file that will open in Wordpad but the formatting looks like schist (german for "Not so Good").

Do you have "Cypergrinding"? What kind of tool is it?

Is that a 5 axis grinder ? mcpgmr might possibly know about this. I seem to remember one of our Wheel reps had passed along an app for programming those.

Not for a Walter grinder. It's been so long I can't remember the name of the Grinder that the app was for. Anyway .exp souds like a Catia V4 exported file. I have to look and see if I still have the app.

 

If you want to e-mail me the .exp I can translate it for you if it is a Catia file.

The file is not an executable or anything similar. It will open inside of Wordpad but most of the characters are quite hairy. I was hoping there was someone here that is using some kind of an editor like CIMCO or similar.

 

I need to give the machine a set of data points and was trying to avoid keying in by hand but so far I think that is what we need to do.
