WCS and posting

Morning all,

I have a problem when I post programmes for our mazak FMS. If I post a programme together with another that is on a separate WCS then the second programme has a G53 in it and starts using machine co-ordinates.

Not being a big post guru I haven't been able to fix this. We don't have this problem on our other machines, all ops get posted together.

Any help appreciated.

Bruce

Fixture Offsets are set by the Work Ofs setting (0=initial offset, usually G54, 1=G55, etc.)

They can also be auto incremented if you use a Transform toolpath (see the settings related how to handle Fixture Offsets).

Some older posts set the Fixture Offset using Misc Value mi1.

If that doesn't do it for you, you need to contact whoever provided the post processor. You may have to open the post and see how the WCS is handled (see mi1 and pwcs).
