Catia Translator

Help....

I have not used the Catia translator, Catread, before. I have a new customer asking if these settings are correct to export from Catia:

Operating System: MVS

CATIA Version: 4.1.7

CATIA Utility : ＣＡＴＥＸＰ

Record Format: FB

Record Length: 80

Block Size: 800

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure. Try contacting the people who make the Catia translator. I can only say my customers have used it "out of the box" with no problems.

Hello there,

In your C-Hooks directory xe. c:mcam8c-hooks, there is a file called catread.doc. If there are special settings they would be listed there. In the past, I have just recieved a regular old *.model file, *.exp, or *.mdl and they worked just fine. You should have the latest Cat-Read, I loaded it for you. Remember?
