Does anyone know of a company that sells lollipop mills? (without special ordering)

Try the MillStar style endmilling tools. They have a quarter size piece of carbide that fits into a steel shank - Looks nice but I have never tried to back cut with one - only seen them profile over a part and it worked extreemly well. Displaced some of the longer solid c'bide tools with them.

Otter,

I have inquired about this before and if you check out the Garr carbide rotary files you will see some ball shape cutters for possible use. I'm sure other companies offer similar style cutters off the shelf.
