Backplot the geo of the 1st pocket and tell it to save it as geo.

then remove the inside linse that are not needed.

then you will have the that you need.

just so you know the backplot is to the center of the tool so you will need to offset it have the tool.

hope this helps.

Hi Luc,

For View uncut area of a 2D pocket remachining operation create new pocket remachining operation using new tool (half or less diameter of tool using in previous pocket remachining operation) only one pass in Z for fast and active the option Display Stock in Pocket Remachining. wink.gif

Using CAD function: Create Offset Contour Inside the Pocket using Pocket Chain. The Offset Distance is Radius the Tool using in Pocket. The option Corners set in None. In all Sharp Corners in the Offset Contour is uncut area. biggrin.gif

Well i was doing demo days today and some one said a thought i forgot we can do now with 8.1.

create the pocket program, now varify it and save the out come as a STL file.

Now you can bring that STL file back in being in the same plain, on another level and lay it over the file you have and see what is left over.

Vary easy & fast. tongue.gif
