lettering question...

I'd like to be able to write something using stick-letters (like you get with the drafting option) around an arc. How do i accomplish this using letters/truetype so i can specify an arc to create it around? i've tried the fonts that the book from Lin and Shiue suggested but still get block lettering.

 

i'm using V8.1.1.

Try a search on macro's or lettering on the forum.

As I recall somebody (Dave?) did up the whole alphabet in scaleable macro driven text.

You have to go to Create/Next menu/Letters/File and select the Box font. Fill in the prompts for size and spacing at the bottom of the screen. After you do this, there will be a question asked above the Main Menu for drawing the letters on an arc. HTH Get your software updated to V9.1 and all of this will be in a Windows dialog so you won't have to follow prompts again.
