Anyone out there have a chook to create a balloon around a note, rather than a box? I do mold design and doing detail identification by drawing circles and inserting the text, attaching a leader, is a pain.

Any other neat chooks to share with fellow forum members?

I don't know of an existing C-Hook like that off-hand, but one could be developed quite easily that encloses a note in a circle instead of a rectangle.

You may want to send the request to CNC Software so they can include that in V9. It might be early enough in the development cycle that they could add that in without too much effort.

This was part of a request submission more than once. It was back at Ver 5 the first time I suggested it.

I stopped using the Macro utility once they added another pretty cool feature whereas a "?" takes you to the table to choose a method of extracting a dimension from geometry on the screen e.g.: R for a Radius. Before this feature came into the system the "?" was used as a variable size for the Macros whereas a "?" would prompt you to put in a dimension. E.g. Macro might say create rectangle 10 by ? and you could fill in the last dimension.
