Setup / Program Documentation

I've noticed tons of posts on this forum (many of them mine as well) concerning documentation of programs and setup. It seems to be a problem for a lot of people. I am in the never ending process of developing a comprehensive method of documenting jobs so once they leave my desk, everybody involved knows everything they need to. I wonder if I will ever get it right?!

 

Is there any software out there that streamlines this process? I use a combination of commenting the NC files (some of which is automated in the post), setup sheets, and screen captures. It's all to often that I miss something just because of all of the repetitive tasks involved.

 

Anybody got a foolproof method of doing this?

 

Are there any plans for improvement on this issue from Mastercam in the future?
