suggestions for X

It would be real nice if the undo button worked in the operation/toolpath tree. Caused a bit of mad.gif this AM. Also, it would be nice if the geometry or toolpath would highlight when you click on an op header. It's a pain to have to click on every chain to see what's what. X is Almost up to the level of Feature Cam, which is what MC replaced for $xx,xxx. I have to laugh when I hear people wooing about the undo. Most software on the planet has had multiple undo for years! curse.gif Bitch Bitch Bitch....At least I can finally have round stock!

Yooooda, you can indeed highlight geometry when you click on a toolpath header. It's just not switched on as standard. Right-click in the Ops Manager and go to Display Options. There, you can set highlight colours for Drive surfaces, Check surfaces and Wireframe.

The Undo does not actually undo in a couple of areas unfortunately. It's not great thing to have to say "at least they are heading in the right direction", but, ahem, at least they are heading in the right direction! biggrin.gif

If you had accidentally deleted an operation, you can get it back it by right-clicking in the ops manager and choosing Undelete. You may have already known this from V9. However, I'm not sure how long X will keep this deleted op in the ether before it is lost for good. I don't think it will be for long (in V9, it was lost as soon as you exited the ops manager).

Thanks, Rich!! It still won't highlight "transformed" ops, but that's better. I just entered a solid as my stock and Verified! It works! Of course, I was able to do that 4 years ago with our old software, but, like you said....

Ok, I'm done chewing. Overall, MC does have better control over toolpath.
