Mastercam and Catia V4 data transfer

Good day all. Is there a way for Cat V4 users to process Mastercam data. What I mean is that one of my colleagues seems to believe that mastercam has an "aptsource" data root and if he can access it, he could concievably post process the data from that application. This is beyond my depth so, does anybody out there have a clue?
