Problems with tabs in mill X

Cool idea, looking forward to using it.

 

I tried today to generate some but with auto tab selected no tabs show up in backplot or verify, when I tried to add them manually I got a crash to the desktop after being prompted to pick the chain and position.

 

Anyone having this problem?

I figured it out, I was trying to generate tabs on a solid with extracted edge curves, I think that was confusing the software it did not know what chain to use, lot of branch points there. I moved all except the c plane chain to another level and it worked.

i am also having problems with tabs in X

 

in mill i select tabs, i use manual tabs place them where i want , i check the box for seperate op to machine tabs away.

 

when MCX makes the separate op it make a router cutoff operation. when i run the op it ramps up from the center of the part(gouging the part) then it machines the tabs away.
