MDT5 and Mastercan

We are using STEP to export out Mechnical

Desktop files and inport into Mastercam 8.1.1

The files are coming in clean, but the layers

are jumbled and all all layers (parts) come

in the same color. Is there a fix for this

or a better way to get MD5 solids into Mastercam. We have the solids package.

Thanks

Larry

Also when you use this command in mdt set the version of SAT FILE OUT.

At the command line type in acisoutver

than type in the number 30 or 40 or 50.

those numbers are important, because you will need to set that number in the sat converter for mastercam to match the mdt file

(30 stands for 3

40 stands for 4

and so on
