I used to use sextnc .html

Now I use

sexthtml .HTML

and

code:

ppost$ # Called after posting is complete and all files are closed

sfilename1 = smcpath$ + smcname$ + sexthtml

sfilename2 = spathnc$ + snamenc$ + sextdoc

result = 1

result = fexist (sfilename1)

if result = 1, result = remove(sfilename1)

result = 1

result = fexist (sfilename2)

if result = 1, result = rename(sfilename2,sfilename1)

Thanks Dave -

The mods you posted worked - although it causes my html.set to create a .doc file. We may want to do away with the .html file and save the doc as a .pdf (that's in the future) anyway.

Now -

My 'operation' list prints out each step of the tool motion as single lines, and does not list each operation (operation) like V9 html.set does. headscratch.gif

Any suggestions?

Kathy,

The $ at the end now denotes the system variables.

As it was explained to me, it is so anyone who might edit a post and create new variables will probably not use an already existing variable name since they all have $ at the end of them.

There may be a more technical reason but if so I have not heard it yet.

Thanks John -

Looks like I get to spend some time tomorrow reading the book. It’s been so long since I’ve fooled with my html.set file – it’s relearning all over again.

I still haven’t gotten my head around the machine group and file naming conventions for McamX operations…
