Ver 8.1.1 - " Recent files" not there

I've loaded Mcam ver8.1.1 on a new computer with XP Pro and cannot get the "Recent files" in File Get (right mouse button). All else seems to work fine. I loaded the new hasp drivers from the eMastercam Patches page.

 

Loaded Ver 9.1 on same computer and Recent files is there, no problem.

 

Any ideas??

 

I'll be out for a couple hours but will check back asap.

wondering why if you have v9 and it works you wouldn't just use it?

Oh, I can and do use v9, but I help out a guy who only has v8 and it is convenient to do some of his work in v8.

Try this

start/programs/mastercam8/cncreg

 

change the option to mastercam. it is probably on standard windows. I think you have to hit apply and then ok also to make it take affect.
