still can't communicate

hi all ,

I try everything with no luck, still can not communicate with machine setting set to display to screen and nothing.

I did copy all setting form v9 (v9 working fine)

any sugestions? Thanks.

I can't get it to just "send to machine" either. My workaround is to click edit, let mastercam external communcations open, then send from there. oh, and click through 2 occasions of "port in use" error messages.

 

Very frustruating that you just can't send straight over to machine without all the extra clicking. Works just fine in 9.

Have you enabled Quick Send from the Editors Options?

 

"port in use" error has been addressed in MR1

I have been told that the "send to machine" checkbox inside the post processing dialog box is not functioning correctly in X.

 

We use this function in V9 all the time, and sure do miss having it. I hope somone can prove me wrong on this one!

i use cimco edit as my primary editor. then send to machine from there. Works for me.

I have quick send checked, and there seems to be no change.

 

-still sends fine from the editor (after the port in use)

-doesn't send at all from X's post dialog, with "send to machine" checked.

I find that with communications option set to "mastercam", and "Quick Send" checked, that our system attemps to send when I close the editor, but sends up a port error. I can send the program from inside the editor manualy just fine.

 

I cant wait to have this fixed in MR1.

 

I was previously under the impression that the "send to machine" check box did not work at all, but with the "quick send" enabled it tries to send, but cant get past the port error, wich according to Mick should be fixed in MR1.

 

I think I have this correct now?

Guys stop geating your heads this is an issue at this time does not work CNC is on it.
