Does anyone know where I can get machineable (true type) fonts for mastercam?

Used to be they had script and other fancy true type fonts, but with 8.1 there doesn't seem to be the same ones available.

If you select TrueType as the type of letters, then you should have all TrueType fonts installed on your PC available. If you have shifted to a new PC, you may need to reinstall the desired TrueType fonts, or download missing fonts over the internet.

Mastercam does not include any TrueType fonts, and never has. The file based fonts included with Mastercam are all still there, and the 'Draft' font looks a lot better in version 8.1 than before, as it now conforms to the ISO standard font.

If you have any further trouble with Mastercam fonts, you should contact your local Mastercam reseller for support.

If you do a lot of engraving, the new engraving module might be of interest to you, as it has some additional fonts, and some nice features for engraving from TrueType fonts and artwork, including the ability to convert a bitmap to vector graphics. I believe there is a discount, if you buy soon.

For single point engraving, use Box or one of the other fonts (slant, roman).

Create, Next menu, letters, file, then pick the name you want.

I prefer the Box font for part numbers; looks great, very efficient.
