Multiple Offsets & unrelated lathe question

Hey Gang,

I downloaded the multiple offset program from the POST page - how does it work? Did it come with a .doc file that I can't find.

Oh yes, on a totally unrelated topic - when you are generating your stock in lathe 8.1.1 is it possible to have your stock represented as a cylinder with a bore? ie 4" diameter rod that has been prebored offline to 1.75"

Thanks,

Ron

Program a part once, and specify the number of required repetitions under Misc Values in the first Operation. A sample file is included in the download.

There is a way to accomplish the same thing with V8 posts supporting subprograms (like Mpfan or Mpmaster from this site).

Check out the Transform parameters for this file and post out using Mpfan or Mpmaster. The Mpsubrep post is a very application specific post that simplifies the settings to get similar output.
