win 2000 problems

We have all of our computers running 2000 professional series and the problem that i have came across on one of our workstations is that if a mcam8 file has already been proved out by one of the users and another users comes along (using a different log on) and adds maybe an additional operation it will not post that opperation, but instead post the original program. These users have the power user privledges only. I took a file to test it on my work station which i have admin on and i had no problems getting the additional operations posted?

Any ideas folks?

Select all the ops - Options - Change NCI destination.

This ensures the NCI path is identical for the existing ops and the new op.

Had the exact same problem yesterday. Changed nci file to the same on all operations then posted as usual with no trouble.

With Mill 8.1.1 level 3 is there a way to set the toolplane to default to work offset #1 instead of clicking t/c plane in the toolpath parameters and activate toolplane then set to #1 ? Post is for Okuma mill.

Nope. -1 is the default and is hard coded into the .exe
