color printing

using mr1. I searched all the old files on this subject and after trying some of those ideas I still can't get a file to print out in color. I am printing a solid with different colored surfaces. When I print it out, I get the part as all different shades of grey. I made sure force color printout is checked. I don't have any problem with the background color, just the part color. In the print preview page it is all grey as well.

No one remembers how to fix this?

I was able to get a color copy by going on another users computer that still has original MCX, no updates, changed all the properties to go to color copier and it came out black and white on his default printer. After I changed his default printer to our color copier it worked fine, but you couldn't change the properties anymore. It went directly into print mode without asking if I wanted to change anything.
