Ive been working on a rotary post processor for our Bridgeport BPC.

the problem Ive got is that the post writes a lot of redundant code like below....

anyone know of a way I can get it to not output all the extra B commands and reduce the code to something like this?

If you are using rotary substitution, the toolpath on flat geometry should be filtered - straight lines will end up as single rotary moves.

If you are using NCI G-Code 11 toolpaths like Rotary4ax or the 4-Axis option in 5-Axis toolpaths, you won't be able to filter. Although you may have a rotary table, others may be using the same toolpaths with a rotary head configuration that would require every move.
