changing operation type

Hi,

 

Is it possible to change an operation type. Ex : change a face toolpath for a pocket face, or changing a surface parrallel for a surface contour etc...

if there is, i have never heard of it.

what is it that you are trying to salvage? time?

is it a long program? there may be some methods to economize even though you are changing toolpaths, such as using previously selected geometry or parameters.

In this particular case a facing op that i whant to change in pocket op. not a big deal to change but If it can be done it would be nice for surface Op for quickly determine witch one is the best for a particular toolpath.
