I want to rapid from program zero to the thread point so I unselect "Auto start position" on the lead in/out page. It shows a rapid move and a thread symbol when I back plot but posts out:

G92 X0. Y0. I1. J0.

G92 X1.49217 Y.375

M60

How can I get "G0 X1.49217 Y.375" in between the two G92 lines?

Thanks,

Mark

mark, for me the easiest way to do it, is to do

an mdi command to your first thread point.that will be your first g92.its been awhile since i

used wire 8.1 and stcw positions, but i remember that you can set your work coordinate position

different from your thread points and it should

work everything from there.that was a big change

from 8 to 9 so you didn't have the spider web

moves all coming from the same point.i don't have

8 anymore to test it.also check your e mail.

quote:

if you look in your toolpaths options do you see "point"?

You're not going to be able to insert a move "here" using a Point path.

What you're looking for is all doable in the PST.

It really depends on how your v8.1 PST was constructed. If it was based off the MPWFANUC.PST, the PST changes will be needed in the area of the ptlch_strt postblock.
