post feedrate output

I need help!!!

I am using a basic mpfan post modified for Mazak. The problem is the post outputs tap feedrate to only two decimal place(.00). The problem is when I put the correct feed in when doing oper set-up. Example: enter fed for a 4-40 tap, which would be .025 feedrate. When I post the program it changes to .03 in the .nc file. Can you help me change this problem.

Look for this in your post;

[*]fmt F 15 feed #Feedrate

and change it to;

[*]fmt F 11 feed #Feedrate

That should do it.

Be careful!

That change will apply to ALL feedrates. Not just the tapping cycle ones. Most controllers will accept higher accuracy for the tapping feedrate, but they may give you a machine error on a G1 for instance.
