FREE **VBS for saving files twice**

I have been working on a VBS script that allows you to save file to two different locations with the push of a button. I finished it a couple of months ago and have been using here at our shop for a while, I wanted to make sure it worked. Now that I'm fairly certain that it isn't gonna frag anything I thought I would offer it to anyone that wanted it.

What it does is saves your file to its current location and to a secondary location you specify through the configuration utility. I call it S2F

I have place a file called S2f.zip in the VB_scripts folder on the FTP site. I would provide a link, but I don't know how to do that yet.

Unzip the file and read the "install.txt" and "S2F.txt". There is also a file called S2F.wmv. It is a screen capture video of me using the S2F function.

I have gained useful knowledge from this forum and I want to give something useful back to it.

hey Bernie

If you open up the vbs scripts at the beginning of each file there is a text file defined as "C:mcamxsf2.cfg". All you have to do is to change it to "C:mcam9sf2.cfg" and it will work. You will have to place the scripts in your VB folder in the mcam9 directory. You can then assign shortcut keys or toolbar buttons to them. Or you can use the chook "mcamvb" to run them if you like.
