    pip, I used the C-Hook from X2 and it seems to be working.

    Our inspector would like to know if I can convert a *.SCN file from a MITUTOYO CMM using MCOSMOS-3 software in to Mastercam. I believe they are 3-D splines from scanning a contour. Does any one know of an "inexpensive" converter, or a way to do this with Mastercam, SolidWorks, or Cadkey?

    This would not be my first choice, but you could always have the operator setup the drill off the "flat" instead of the tip.

    Rakesh, I would beg for some more money and upgrade that Quadro FX card to the next level. Print some of the posts on this forum about computer hardware and show it to your supervisor. You will get by with the FX1500, but it will always be the bottleneck in your system. I just hate it when management skimps on our computers, but will think nothing of adding leather and a 6-CD Changer to that new company car.
