Wire for MC X

I finally got the company to buy wire about two months ago and just now the is people are starting to install. They tell me now that I can't have the wire software on the same system as my mill v.X. Does anyone else have both running on the same system?

Hi Bill,

 

Only mill here.

It is all in X, Mill, Wire and Lathe.

So you only have to upgrade your Haspcode.

The only problem can be when you bought a separate seat, you will have 1 mill hasp, and 1 wire hasp.

I don't know how to handle that.

Henk is correct. If they bought a standalone license instead of a update to your current license you will have to have both hasps installed on the same computer if you want to run both seats. You can run multiple sessions on the same computer we do it here, and there are many others on the forum doing it everyday. One of the nice things about X is that you can do wire and mill work in the same file.

Thanks John and Henk. It looks like they ordered another seat for wire. Not what I asked for buy it's their money, and I'll take it. Now all I have to do is convince them that they have to put both sims on to make it work. Oh well, I've had MR2 downloaded for about two months also and can't seem to get them to install that either.
