Lead In cutting power

You can go into customize cut at point and change the settings there. Why would you want to lead in with the power off? On the Makino if you make contact with the workpiece with power off it will give you an alarm message when you turn the power on called non-contact point not found, and it will not allow you to machine. IF you are needing to cut down on machine time by rapiding your leadins you are probably sunk WEDM'ing.

If I have alot of air to cut I generally hard code in some rapid moves, or break it into some smaller countours. How big are your leadins? You don't need much more than your cutting wire diameter.
