  1. I just recently upgraded to MastercamX from Mastercam9. Previously, when I would backplot my 4 axis wire path it would tell me the taper angle of the cut. I cant seem to get the new mastercamX to display this information. Anyone have a solution? Thanks, Travis

  3. Do you know if this code is the same code used in Mastercam version 9.1
  4. Thanks Alot, I really appreciate it.
  5. I recently downloaded Masteram X2 but am unable to run it. When I try to open it up a message comes up that reads, "No Mastercam X Products enabled on the SIM". Does anyone know how to help me solve this problem. Thanks, Travis Hancock
  6. Could you please explain to me more what H/mm2 is? Also what mits is. Thank you very much. Would I be correct in saying that overall, 950 is better than 900? Travis Hancock.
  7. I have two different brands of wire. They are both 11 pound spools. Everything about them is the same except one says "super brass wire 900 ", and the other says "super brass wire 950". What is the meaning of 900 or 950. Thanks, Travis Hancock
  8. Does anyone have the power settings that they use while wiring through Ampcoloy? If you dont have the power settings, maybe someone could give me some hints and tips for better machining of this material. Thanks Travis Hancock Machine i use is a Makino Eu64 Software mastercam version 9.1
  9. Does anyone here use zinc coated wire? If so, could you please tell me the pros and cons that you have encountered while using this kind wire? Also, does anyone here use belly wizard technology? If so, could you please tell me the pros and cons encountered while using this technology. Thanks.
  10. Does anyone know if there is any way to turn the cutting power off while leading into the surface(in 4 axis machining)? It would be nice to makle the lead in a rapid move. Thanks I run version Mastercam 9.1
  11. Alright thank you. It did have a G0 in the program after the G40. If I remove that, it will cut because it wont be a rapid move right? Also, is there a way to program it in mastercam without having to mess around with deleting things in my post.
  12. For some reason during an offset cancel the cutting power is turned off causing my wire to break. This only happens in 4 axis machining. Im not quite sure if the problem is in the programming or the machine settings. The machine I run is a Makino. I also checked the post and everything seemed to be OK there. Does anyone have a solution. I run mastercam 9.1
