Verify problems

At the end of the verify run part dissapers. I can watch it run, but when it finishes it's gone. The part is so big that it takes 45 minutes to finish and I can't stand to sit and watch it the whole time so when I come back I have nothing to look at.

 

anyone have any ideas?

You can run verify in fast forward mode until it gets near the end then stop it so you don't have to wait the whole time. Does it allow you to save the stl file after the verify finishes? Are you using True Solid verify? If so, click on the 'Fit' icon after it finishes and you should be able to see the whole part.

Yes I use true solid. I also use the FFW, 45 minutes, it's hard to sit and stare for that long. I tried fit to screen, dose nothing. Is there a seperate fit on the verify menu?

Have not tried to save an STL file yet.

1. Have you tried right clicking on desktop, go to properties/settings/advanced/troubleshoot/ turn graphics acceleration down to 1 bar above none. Try this and if it doesn't help put it back like it was.

 

2. If 1 didn't work you can try going to settings/configurations/screen/switch to GDI instead of open GL. Restart and see if it helped, if not put back like it was.

 

3. What operating system are you running? There have been several issues with Quadro FX cards working in some Windows 2000 systems.

No, there's no fit command on the verify menu. I use the one on the main toolbar and it always works.

Huge file. We make molds for vehical headliners. This one is for a Nissan SUV, not sure which model.

had a hard time finding John's posting on this issue try his fix, sorry I took so long. John is probably tired of repeating this.

 

I have disabled the Front End Buffer

 

He's running a 1300 and not a 1100 but give it a try.

Lou do you know what is ment by the front end buffer? I have the Unified back/depth buffer off, is this the same thing? My IT guy is not sure whare to find this. I had the new drivers installed today. Trying them out now.

In MCAM X got to settings/configuration/screen/graphics support/there is a check box there for disable front buffer.
