Is there a way to Import a Smirt SMZ file

First time caller, longtime listener. Is there a way or a plugin that we allow us to import Smirt model SMZ files. Smirt has an IGES translation export tool but it creates poor IGES files. Please let me know we are currently hostage to the guys up stairs with Catia and UG seats.

Are the guys with UG supplying you files?

 

If they are see if you can get a Parasolid instead of and iges.

 

I don't know if CATIA output parasolids, they probably do an ACIS file.

 

SMZ, never heard of it before.
