4 Axis Toolpath Examples

Does anyone have some examples of simultaneous 4 axis toolpaths/geometry that they could put on the FTP? I'd really like to learn how to do these properly, and the best way would be to look at some working examples.

The machine I'm programming is a A axis (3 axis vertical machining centre with a rotary axis along the x axis, like a dividing head)

Any examples of full 4 axis (surface and wireframe), and indexing examples would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mick,

I put a 4 axis program that comes right from the 4-5 axis tutorial book. It is called Tutorial#6.mc8. The book is available here at emastercam.com, but I purchased from my dealer.

The book is very straight forward in walking thru 4 - 5 axis toolpaths. Have Fun

I have put a file called "4thcadcam" it has 2D roll and 5axis outputted as 4th all in one file.
