Morning all,

 

is it possible to save the view manager?

 

what im after is, we have an intergrex that requires certain views need to be rotated to match the machine orientation. so instead of having to rotate all the relavent top,front,right etc etc t planes, can i do all this and save the view manager so that every time i boot up mc the intergrex views are already in the manager?

Create all your views and save the file as a template.

 

When you need it, open the file, do a save as, the new file name, merge the solid or file in, rotate part into position and save.

 

No you have the view s you want a s a default in every file.

Could this be done with a VBS, I have a VBS for nameing all the layers that sombody here wrote. Maybe this is also do able in VB.

Or... when you start a new job, go in your view manager, right-clic, import, and select you template file (like John proposed before). You'll have access to all your views.
