MCX2 editor window

When the editor opens with the NC code, the window is all over the place. All our PC's have the same dual 24" wide screen monitors, Quadro cards, and we don't have admin. status on them. No matter what I've tried, the editor opens different size windows and positions. It is almost never the same spot or size. On one PC the file window is not maxed in the editor and the editor window is both monitors plus some wide so I have to drag window over to close and send code. No setting in editor has helped and having an administrator set it hasn't worked. We've even tried closing window while holding down some combinations of Shift, Alt & Ctrl keys. Setting nView properties has no effect either.

 

Any ideas on making this window open the same place and size each time?

Which editor? Chekc the properties for all the files that your edotir uses & make sure "Read Only" is unchecked.

Check for an .ini file & see if you can read this with Notepad or Wordpad. Look for something about position. It may not have that owrd, just some X Y coordinates.

I had the same problem when I had my graphics set to split horiz screen. When I changed it to dual screen setting the editor works fine.
