Have you checked out the holder chook, available by right clicking the OP manager, down near the bottom.

The other thing you can do is define all your tools as custom tools and turn off the show holder in verify.

Also if you use any of the new HS tool paths there is a section you can define holders for each tool

from the whats new in SP1

quote:

Check Holder C-Hook

This C-Hook allows you to check an operation's tool holder for interference with the part. It calculates areas where there is interference between the holder and the part, and tells you the minimum tool length required to avoid it. Mastercam gives you several options for configuring the test:

· Set the holder dimensions. Click Holder to read the holder dimensions from the source operation, or to manually enter the holder dimensions.

· Choose an option for minimum tool length. You can either have Mastercam calculate the minimum required tool length, or enter a minimum value yourself to test. The minimum value that you enter here will be the lower bound for multiple tests.

· Set the tolerance and resolution to balance calculation speed against test precision and accuracy. Enter larger values for a faster and coarser test.

· Enter a Holder clearance to define a minimum distance the holder is to maintain from the part.
