  1. Thank you for your info. Only Mastercam in my computer doesn't work in our office. I don't know why. Maybe some settings are not right. I just install Mastercam 2018. I didn't edit anything. Every thing is default.

  3. Hi all, I use mpsubrep post. The subprogram number come out in order. I want that: subprogram number = main program number + tool number (call the tool first time ) subprogram number = main program number + tool number + 100*times (times = times to call the tool from second time) In the post file: (subprogno = progno$ + t$) and (subprogno = progno$ + t$ + 100*TIMES) Would you please tell me how to modify the post? Thank you very much.   5. Thank you all: My company makes aerospace parts. We have an OKK table/table 5-axis machine, two OKK head/head 5-axis machines, a Haas head/table 5-axis machine and a Matruura table/table 5-axis machine. We need both 5-axis positional (3+2) and 5-axis simultaneous machining The company uses GibbsCAM for about 15 years, but it not very good for 5-axis simultaneous machining. I have worked here for only three weeks. I have used MasterCAM for years. One person here used PowerMill before. Now we want to choice between MasterCAM and PowerMill. We don’t know about Hyper-mill.   8. I have holder problems when verifying. I use different shape holders, but mastercam use only one holder file when verifying. I modify holder file every time when I use special holders for verifying. Maybe I need do something. Thank you.

  10. Thank you for your help. It is the first time for me to try to modify 5X posts. I modified generic fanuc 5x mill post. I changed shift_90_s from 1 to -1. All B values changed from pos. into neg. I modified machine definition, adding component C-axis as child of Y-axis and B-axis as child of C-axis, changed B-axis minimum travel limit to 0, and maximum travel limit to 90, but nothing change in the program. I need help. I don’t know what the psb file is about. I cannot open it. My dealer told me “Do not touch it.”
  11. Thank you very much. you are right. I bought a 5x post about 2 years ago for machine DMU 70 EVOLUTION, control HEIDENHAIN (i)TNC 426. It works good, but I have never touched the post. Now I want to program OKK 5-axis machine with gcods, so I try to modify the post. I also tried to convert from Heidenhain to gcods using CIMCO Edit v5, but it didn't work. Do you have some software to convert between Heidenhain and ISO? Thank you very much.
