post files

I have a 5 axis post I am trying to use. I don't know if it is a version 9, or X. All that I know is it has a .txt, .pst, and a .psb file. I want to be able to use it in X2MR1, can any one tell me what files I need to put where or why it is not updating properly?

I'm assuming you've run the Updatepost utility in the C-hooks directory in X2MR1? Are you saying that nothing happens when you run the utility, or that the post updates but the output of it is not correct?

 

You may need to only change the 'target folder' location when you run the updatepost utility. It defaults to the main directory (C:Mcamx2). Is it placing your updated post there? If so, you can redirect it to the desidred location like C:Mcamx2millposts by specifying that location in the updatepost utility parameters window.

Also depending on where the 5 axis post is from you may need to have them update it.

 

 

If it is locked you'll likely need the people who provided it to do that.

It is earlier than X typically if it has both a pst and a txt file. The psb file indicates that it is locked to a particular SIM/HASP from the supplier. As John indicated, check with them about updating it.
