mastercam 9 lathe progam

can somebody help.can you help me with a step by step procedure to come up with nc program using mastercam 9 for a "system 8 sinumerik vertical lathe machine.I can draw nicely the geometry.the machine tarret has 5 arms.EACH arm has 2tools one for id and the other for od.Also lets say the table is turning M04.TOOLS available:knife tool,grooving,16diameter button tool.,triangler tiped tool with corner radius 1.6.lets say we machine slew ring of any size.ON the actual machine it sits on pads 100mm high from the machine table .how do I drAW this job position on mastercam.

I have never programmed a vertical, but I think you would have to draw the part as if it were in a horizontal lathe , and then have the correct post processor to output x and z where z is horizontal in mastercam. Assuming that your vertical machine is z is the vertical travel.
