MasterCam Lathe BUG ???????

Has any one noticed when offset drilling in lathe and doing a verify of it, the software plunges the hole at that location only, not diametrically.

This creates an elongated hole, not the oversized hole needed. headscratch.gif

(eg. .750 diameter drill, shifted to drill an .800 diameter hole has the .750 width and .775 length instead of .800 diameter.)

IS THIS A BUG ????? cheers.gif

Thanks, the only reason I noticed it was when a boring bar went into the hole it changed to an odd shape and I got a collision error, then when in translucent mode it was obvious. I agree that the program will be correct.

This feature did work on previous versions.
