Tool numbers in lathe

Is there a way to automatically use sequential tool numbers instead of crazy numbers like T4949?

 

I would like to see tool 1 (T0101) then tool 2 (T0202) etc.

 

Any ideas?

 

I see that you could "edit selected operations" and "renumber" there.

 

Is there a way to do it automatically?

I think you can setup in control deffinition

using tools and operations defaults page

Select all operations in your TP manager and right click. Find renumber tools. Something like that.

In the operations window

Under properties - pick files

Pick lathe operations defaults - bottom of window

Go all the way to the top of the operations default window

Pick properties

Pick tool settings

Make the settings on this page

 

There is a duplicate tool settings page when you first go to files - but these are not permanant settings

where do the tool numbers get changed on that page? I don't see a place for tool numbers. Maybe I'm in the wrong place.
