you cannot close the application while a task is open

ERROR(you cannot close the application while a task is open)can't close Mastercam really can't duplicate it just seems to happen. Is this a known issue or do we have demons?

Running Windows 2000 with Mastercam x2 mr2. We have had this problem on all versions of X.

That will happen if a menu item was selected and not completed. If you hit the escape key a couple of times to exit the function, you will not get the message

I am haveing this problem which steve had mention and I tried to use the escape key and that did not work. I also note that these file where created in X2 and not X2-MR2 and I also get a error when opening the file in X2-MR2, saying (an unnamed file contains an invalid path) I check the paths of all the files and could not find an invalid path. this problem was also happen sometimes in X2. This particular part was working just fine in X2. The part files and tool library are stored on an network drive and these files are target correctly in the files parameter.

I have the same problem but with X4. EXC key does not help.

Whats up steve? How is the fam? I have seen this is early versions of X, a dialog box would get minimized and get stuck. I have not seen this problem with X3 or X4. If you can let me know the key strokes I can check it out further.

I was in X4 & using, if I remember correctly, in the Rotary Axis Control window.

It happens to me after the screen saver kicks in. It also disables the Operations Manager's rollover buttons at the top.
