Advanced 5Axis Defaults

I started playing with some of the new toolpaths and having what initially appears to be a far superior normal project toolpath to Curve5-axis.

 

I went in to try and set up defaults and did not see the advanved 5-axis interface listed in there. Is there any way to set defaults for these toolpaths? The options do not stick from the previous toolpath either, so I have to go in and change every option each time I use one of these. Am I missing something or is Mastercam?

You can use the defaults file to your advantage in the Adv. Multiaxis, just like anything else: on the Toolpath Parameters tab, right click anywhere in the grey background area (by the misc. values, planes, etc), and choose "Save Parameters To Defaults File." Of course, you'll want to do this on a path that you already set everything up for.

 

It will default to these settings now for every toolpath you do, even after your mastercam session ends.

That is a nice tip that I didn't know was there, either. I loaded an often used tool and set it to use its defaults. The values stay there but the tool does not. Can I also have that tool load by default?
