Solids Corruption

The situation is this: When I import a solidworks file OR create a new solid in X2-MR2 everything is fine until I save/close the file. When I return for editing or other info I get the following error messages in consecutive, individual banners:

cannot find solid referenced by history file

corrupt or invalid file. contact your local mastercam dealer

cannot open file C:mcamx2-mr2/... .mcx. it is a file from a newer mastercam version or is not a file format recogized by mastercam.

These messages are new within the last week, and although there are several users here, none of them have admin rights on the computer to make changes to files. Is this just calling for a re-install? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Guy W.
