When was Router introduced, V8 or V9?

My memory is a little foggy right now. Might be the Michelob Light, I don't know. When was the router product introduced? Was it V8 or V9. I got a customer running Mill8 and I have a V8 post to give him, but I can't remember when router came out.

I am remembering V9 and as a sep install or was that V8 as a sep install.Dang that was a few years ago.

Ok went thru my Mastercam box of CD's and found my V8 Routor standalone disk. So answer is V8

Thanks. I think I have the customer talked into upgrading to X2. I put a little extra jam on the bread. I did not like X for a long time because it slowed me down and I had to hunt for things that I knew like the back of my hand in V9. After trying to do some parts for the customer today in V8, I finally said screw this you need to upgrade to X2. I then drug out my laptop and did their part in X2. I sure would hate to go back now.

I hear you but once you get into X almost all don't want to go back.I would say 95% like it and stay.
