Canned lathe cycle BUG ??????

When using the lathe canned cycle I noticed that when entering a number in "stock to leave in Z" the last pass also uses this number as a clearance. IS THIS A BUG ????

I suppose only if you are going to do a canned finish.

I see the error on canned rough, and the last pass uses the amount to leave on Z as the start AND end points.

 

Just loaded SP1 and noticed it.

Might be a .dll problem on your box, I had one of those a few years ago and it played havoc with the posting of canned cycles. There is also a problem with canned cycle posting if you are using reference points. Steve and I got a fix from CNC Software on that one a couple of years ago but I don't know if the post you have is an old one that you updated.

In back plot, the tool starts at front of part, cuts to end leaving 2.0" retracts to front of part on all cuts except last one, the last one goes to 2.0" before part. see pictures.
