Mastercam X2 Service Pack 1

Why do I get a "Mastercam X2 not installed" error when I try to install the latest service pack? How can this issue be resolved? I am running X2 MR2.

Well, if you are trying to install the SP1 to X2 it will not work.

 

Make sure you have the correct Service Pack

 

If you are running X2 MR2, the Service Pack for that release ONLY

The Service Pack you want is 90megs, the X2 service pack is only 40 megs in size

lol. Ya I had the same issue. I then checked the CD and it was MR2 not X2 alone. I was trying to install the wrong SP

I'm pretty sure that is the one I am trying to install. mastercamx2-servicepack001.exe

again if you are running mr2 is should be

 

mastercamx2-mr2-servicepack001.exe

Unpacked it once more and for some reason it installed this time. Go Packers! :-) Maybe a rematch of the 96 Superbowl?
