BACKPLOTTER

Good Morning,

 

Could someone tell me if this sounds feasible? The company I work for has a huge resource of CNC programs developed in APT. I would like to know if I could obtain a backplotting program to run our current output code through. Convert the tool path (finish pass) to geometry and then utilize it in MasterCAM to create new parts. There are extensive programs for our lathes I would like to use in MasterCAM.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I have never used it but I know there is a NCItoAPT Converter that will also go from APT to NCI.
