when I get a tool from the library the tool number comes in but the length and the diameter don't match. Also when I set the machine group tool settings to assign tools sequentially I have to do that for every new program is there a way to make it stay.

you need to set your "Operation Defaults for it to be permanent, from your Operations Manager

 

 

That will open your "Operation Defaults" dialog

 

After clicking on Tool Settings that will open the next dialog, where it can be set

 

 

After you've made the change, Green Check and OK all the way out and you "default" settings should now be set.

 

 

That will bring them in sequentially,

 

then you'll want to go settings >> machine definition

 

>> control definition >> click on tool on the left hand side

 

 

 

 

and set to to add to tool 0 and 0

 

 

 

that will keep your offests the same as the tool #
